Cedarwood Soaps

Our soaps are crafted from scratch at Cedarwood using the age-old method of mixing oils and caustic soda together at high temperatures. Once unmoulded, the soaps must be left to ‘cure’ for several weeks before using. For the soap base I combine the natural ingredients of olive oil, coconut oil, (RSPO) palm oil and cocoa butter to give a gentle but nourishing lather. Added to this are the pure scents of essential oils, which in addition to their beautiful scents, are believed to possess therapeutic qualities which can benefit not only our skin but our physical and emotional well-being.
